EastMed Egypt Group S.A.E
was established in 1993 by Mr. Waleed Badr the present chairman and CEO of “EastMed
Egypt”, a group of companies working in the fields
of shipping, maritime services, freight forwarding and logistic
services. Mr. Waleed is a Board member of the Egyptian
Chamber of Commerce in
Alexandria & President of the Sea Freight
Committee, in EIFFA "The Egyptian Freight Forwarding Association"
the official representative of FIATA in Egypt. He is also a
Consultant and a
board member of
A.C.F.A (Advisory Committee For Trade Facilitation Alexandria) and
the Egyptian National Trade Enhancement Program supervised by the
European Commission, USAID & Ministry of trade in addition to being
a Sea Transport Consultant in AEC "Agriculture Export Council", a
member of the A.B.A. "Alexandria Business Association", a member of
the Transport Committee as well as a member of HEIA "Horticultural
Export Improvement Association".
Our Managing Director Eng. Amany G. Selim also has more than
17 years of experience in the field of liner shipping as she has
previously occupied the positions of customer service and export
manager at CMA CGM Egypt, then General Manager of worldwide
container services (agent of Maersk 1996) and later on as commercial
manager of Maersk Egypt. Eventually, she occupied the position of
Norasia / CSAV Group line manager in Egypt for the last 9 years.
EastMed Group
now employs over 150 full time personnel, all working together in
perfect harmony to supply our clients with the most comprehensive
logistic solutions.
EastMed
is also a licensed ship agent, a licensed consolidator and a
licensed customs broker since 1993 with 25 in-house customs brokers. |
